electric engineering firm and expands their business/es across the world.
The three mian competitors to the company are ABB Ltd, General Electric
Co and Hitachi Ltd.
The global headquarters is located in Munich and Berlin and have trading
etc for over 150 years and has 190 countries and some 600 plants employing
417,000 employees to develop and produce products in the industries they
are involved with. It has a overwhelming presence in the USA.
In the mobile industry, Siemens have been making steady improvement in
its sales over the past 2 years.

As you can see Siemens is making a little ground on its compitors in
the mobile phone industry and saw a sale increase of 9,000. Nokia remains
the clear leader, although they have dropped in the market share, the
sales have increased by nearly 30,000.

Nokia still are increasing their sales but market share is dropping.;
Siemens have dropped market share by nearly 2% but they have an increased
sale rate.
According to these figures Siemens have got a lot of ground to catch
up on the major players such as Nokia and Motorola. Time will tell if
they can catch up with them and and this time it looks very unlikely.
